We would like to thank the non-profit organization Hanamiyama wo Mamoru Kai (Committee to Protect Hanamiyama) for giving us the strawberries seen in the picture. They were delicious!
Moving on, we will report on our first activities in Fukushima of 2020.
This time, our trip took place on the 28th-29th of January. We visited with 5 staff members.
Although the weather report predicted snow, we were lucky enough to avoid the bad weather.
Some areas still had snow, while others were very windy.

At the Omachi Community Center in Minamisōma City, we administered thermotherapy treatment and set up some simple recreational activities for everyone to play.
The participants split up into two teams and enjoyed themselves.
<This time, we played a more difficult version of shiritori, the traditional Japanese word game!>
The thermotherapy was enjoyed by all, both young and old.
We would like to thank everyone who got together despite the snowy weather.

The COVID-19 virus seems to be on its way to Japan.
If you feel unwell, we encourage everyone to visit a doctor as soon as possible and get plenty of rest.
