Today we will be reporting on our second round of aid activities at the Hospital Central de Valencia (CHET) located in Valencia. After several months of difficult circumstances, we were finally able to fund another food distribution on Saturday, March 7th.

4 local volunteer staff members helped with the cooking. Other staff weren’t able to join them when their car broke down, so these 4 volunteers cooked enough meals for 170 children!

Just like last time, the volunteers served pasta with tomato sauce, ground beef, and cheese on top.

Approximately 10,000 yen was used for the food distribution. In addition to the meals that we funded, other donors sent books and toys for the children to play with.
