Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our annual trip to Ukraine has been postponed. As an alternative measure, we have decided to send our donations to our supporting partner instead.

In addition to the 300,000 yen we donate each year to the schools and hospitals in Ukraine, we included an additional 500,000 yen to cover fees related to purchasing medical equipment and supplies needed to combat the COVID-19 virus. We were able to deliver a total of 800,000 yen in donations at the beginning of July.

We decided on the allocation of funds based on a needs assessment our partner conducted at 5 different hospitals in Ukraine.

The hospitals will be using the funds to purchase essential medical equipment including face shields, thermometers, germicidal lamps. and heart rate monitors.

We will continue to post updates as the supplies reach hospitals and schools.
