Venezuela aid activities, October 13th
2020/10/13

Today we will report on our 7th round of aid activities in Venezuela.

Like last month, we supported volunteers who cooked meals for the children of San Diego Municipality, Valencia.

The volunteers prepared bread and fried rice mixed with ham and vegetables. They were able to feed a total of 122 children.

The COVID-19 pandemic has only exacerbated the economic crisis in Venezuela, leading to local protests erupting across the country. Gasoline prices have risen as well. The supply of cooking gas has reportedly stopped, and gasoline prices have reached as high as 40 times their original value.
Despite restrictions on going outside due to the coronavirus and low supplies of gasoline, the local volunteers continue to do their best to feed to the hungry children of San Diego.
As CheFuKo, we strive to support these volunteers and share their work with the rest of the world.

In 2019, we established the “Venezuelan Children’s Fund” to support Venezuelan children, their families, and the organizations that assist them.
You can register as a donor from our website, or contact us by phone. We look forward to your generous support!
