Fukushima Trip, October 19th-21st
2020/10/23

The weather is starting to turn cool. Following last month’s trip, we visited Fukushima again this October to continue our support activities.

After two weeks of checking our temperature, we were ready to set out. 4 staff members were present for the trip.

The CheFuKo team, including our newest staff member, performed thermotherapy on 16 individuals who requested the treatment.

We also helped clean up the Hanamiyama hiking trail and worked in the vegetables fields.

The pictures below show our team planting tulip and narcissus bulbs along the side of the hiking trail. We look forward to seeing the flowers sprout next year!

In the fields, we used a tiller to plow the soil, dug holes, and planted seeds.

We were also lucky enough to meet some adorable animals and enjoy the local fruits and vegetables.
