We would like to thank everyone who participated in the campaign to send messages of support to frontline medical workers using our Facebook page and website.

We sent the messages and an accompanying donation to The National Center for Global Health and Medicine, one of four medical institutions across the country designated for specific infectious diseases. The facility has set aside a ward to treat COVID-19 patients.

We sent along 115 messages of gratitude and donated a total of 100,000 yen towards efforts to combat the COVID-19 virus.

The director of the nursing department explained that the hospital’s capacity to take in patients after Golden Week was unclear. However, with fewer patients in intensive care, the situation seemed on its way to calming down.

Despite the difficulties of current circumstances, one nurse explained that they were “proud to be a medical worker who could support our society”. We were amazed by their strong resolve.

Thanks to everyone’s generous cooperation, we were able to deliver many messages of support to the frontline healthcare workers. We would like to express our gratitude once again.
It will still take some time for the COVID-9 pandemic to be over. We will be continuing our support activities for as long as they’re needed.
