In our efforts to contribute to the worldwide struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been sewing cloth masks since April and delivering them to children and staff members at children’s facilities. As it is getting easier to purchase children’s masks, we decided to make our final batch of masks in late August.

We have been very encouraged by the kind messages from the facilities and individuals we donated to. We hope these masks will make it a little easier to deal with the daily struggles of the coronavirus.

We were able to donate a total of 552 masks to the facilities and organizations listed below:
・Rainbow House (the children in the picture above!)
・Aoba Gakuen
・Fukushima Aiiku-en
・NPO Hanamiyama wo Mamoru Kai
・Iris Gakuen
・Iwaki Ikuei-go
・Haramachi Seiai Kodomo-en   etc.

We pray that the COVID-19 pandemic will soon come to an end.
